Status update

Following recent circumstances, henceforth recorded as deployment SEF/24/Delta-72, to time loop prison following the recovery of MIA SEF personnel, certain information has been collated that requires dissemination to the entirety of the Exploration Force.

On the Ori

We have received communication through gate travel at the edge of our galaxy with a force purporting to speak for the follower of the Way of Origin. We have entered into diplomatic negotiations based upon an agreement made with John Warner representing Earth and one Prior Higgs representing the Ori

At this juncture, it shall be considered that the Ori are to be treated as an allied or neutral race until further information is disseminated. Further, actions relating to John Warner are moved to the diplomatic sphere and are to be considered outside of the purview of SEF personnel, as he has “effective diplomatic immunity” due to his integral part in creating this opportunity for peaceful coexistence with a new branch of the human race.

On the HGC

An agreement has been reached between the 1IC SEF and Maxwell Summers, Director in Charge of HGC Offworld Operations, to an alliance and joint operation to deal with the present and active threat of the “Great Old Ones” within the operating spheres of the named units.

We have become aware that these GOO have made physical intrusion into the home universes of the SEF and the HGC and are considered enemy combatants along with those that work in their interests or have been enslaved by them. The nature of their threat is to the very base energy state of the normally-sealed system of these universes and may, over time (along with the “black goo” that is the physical manifestation of matter from the GOO home universe), compromise the functioning integrity of life here.

We have agreed the following parameters to this joint operation:

1. An SEF team piloting the recovered R’lyehian spacecraft will be dispatched to the “cage” for the GOO established by the Alliance of Elder Races led by the Asgard and evaluate its status with the operational goal of either permanently closing the cage or finding method to jettison the cage back through the tear in space in a manner that does not allow it to egress and become an increased threat to allied races.
2. An SEF team will make planetfall amongst the “Empire of the Sun”, there to fulfil two main objectives.
   1. To reach the planet closest to the cage and sever/contain the impact this contact has and is creating amongst the Empire and the spread of their “shadowlands”.
   2. To achieve and maintain a diplomatic peace with the leadership of the Empire of the Sun or, if this proves no longer possible, to work with embedded assets to render said grouping incapable of performing as an active threat to Earth civilization.
      
      Due to negotiations already in play from the contact team most recently engaged with Emperor and Light of Heaven Matsudaira Soun, you will be escorting a member of the royal family (Windsor line) of the UK to represent “House Windsor” and to facilitate this diplomatic effort. All reasonable actions to maintain the safety of this asset that do not compromise the primary objectives are to be maintained. Note: due to prior in-field experience, it is assumed that the SEF will be taking lead in diplomatic negotiations.
3. That there is an extant “metaphysical threat” to the “ascended plane” that the 1IC SEF and the Director HGC have agreed constitutes a viable ongoing threat, which we are informed the SEF has personnel who are qualified to address, whilst in locations on the above missions.
   
   These personnel are to be allocated all viable assets and capabilities to investigate, quantify, and resolve this threat.

For their part, the HGC have noted that they shall be attempting to complete parallel operations from their side to replicate an effective resolution to similar issues rooted in their universe. And may also be willing and able to offer military aid on a larger scale, should it be required in the Empire of the Sun.

Lastly, it should be noted that the activities of Jaffa serving a Goa’uld identified as Anubis have been active in this theatre, and are likely to compose a competing or enemy force in the achieving of these objectives. Circumstantial evidence leads us to believe that this Anubis may be a member of Earth special forces that was lost at Deployment SEF/15/Delta-41 and has been acting in collusion to seditious elements within the Empire of the Sun, believed to be allied with GOO and the spread of their shadowlands.
